Patient roster, re-cut
LUKE · clinician surface · synthetic data
The same staff view, two ways. Before is the current build (PatientListPage.tsx): a flat stack of identical cards, name plus an Rx count, alphabetical. After applies the Hayman editorial system already in the repo (Masthead + Entry + small-caps meta) to the clinical roster: every patient carries the one clinical line that says why they need you, ordered by who needs you first. All names and details below are invented.
Before
Current build. A directory: equal-weight cards, an Rx badge, no triage.

Eight weeks into testosterone cypionate. Follow-up panel resulted two days ago and
hematocrit is flagged high at 54%, still unreviewed. Likely needs a dose hold or a therapeutic phlebotomy referral.

Sermorelin protocol, stable. Prescription
expires in 4 days and no renewal visit is booked. A short async check-in would keep her on therapy without a gap.

Reading the difference. Before, every patient looks identical and the only signal is an Rx count. After, the three patients waiting on a decision rise to the top and carry the clinical reason in plain language; the four that are fine recede.
Guardrail honored: the editorial accent claret (kickers, links) is kept distinct from clinical-alert red (abnormal / overdue), so the magazine accent never reads as a medical danger state. Amber = soon, green = steady.
